The leader among wafer specialities – the Kägi has been made to a
traditional recipe for over 60 years using pure, natural ingredients and
home-made Swiss milk chocolate. The well-known Kägi (also known as the Kägi fret in German) received
its name from the founder, Otto Kägi, who added and shortened the French word
for wafer, "gaufrette". It has been produced in the Toggenburg since 1958, using only high-quality, pure raw materials. The Kägi is popular amongst young and old. It is the ideal sweet snack to enjoy whilst on the go.
